Pulling on their boots

This month three seperate JustGiving campaigns have been launched by volunteers looking to raise money for our vital work in Bhutan.

Emma's siser, Lucy Clarke is running the London Marathon on the 27th April. David Masterman is hoping to run the St Albans Half Marathon in June and the charities chair, Peter Williams is planning on completing the Leeds Castle triathalon in the same month. In total the trio hope to raise in excess of £2,500.

Speaking about her decision to run the marathon, Lucy said "the Marathon will take perseverance, guts and courage - but if those wonderful children can do it, I'm sure I can too!"

David was a keen marathon running until a stroke in 2011 left him unable to run. He has now set himself the task of walking a marathon before his 50th birthday with the St Albans Half Marathon being that first important step.
